Hasmydatabeenleaked.org is the final step in Tristan Cascio’s capstone project.
Your data wasn’t actually leaked. This was all part of an educational experience to help show how easily hackers, cybercriminals and others can gather your personal data. The posters I made to entice users were made to look poorly designed on purpose. The emails that followed weren’t made to look entirely real either. I wanted those who participated to be worried about their data possibly being leaked but I also wanted them to be granted with a solution at the same time. This website serves as an eductional hub to help users understand every aspect of a data leak.
